One of the most common questions we are asked is "do we require a specialised venue for a sword fighting team building event?"
The good news is that the answer is absolutely not, so long as the surface is firm and provides grip, and the space is adequate for the activity, which is generally around a badminton court space for each 10-20 people taking part (16.5m length x 8.5m width). Some examples of previous venues we have used are as follows:
Grassed areas outside client premises
In other words, an open space with a firm surface will do absolutely fine.
